Kitchen Staff
Job Summary: Work with Kitchen Manager to properly prepare meals, taking special care of people with allergies and dietary restrictions.
Assist with food preparation, cooking, and serving
Wash dishes and maintain the cleanliness of the Kitchen
Possess a commitment to safe food handling procedures in accordance with the Bullitt County Health Department
Communicate effectively with various populations
Shift 1: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm (approx)
Shift 2: 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm (approx)
July 10 - July 20 (approx)
Requirements:
16 years or older
Have a Bullitt County Food Handler’s Certification or be willing to obtain one.
Must pass a background check
Lifeguard
Job Summary: Supervises swimming activities at the pool and ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed.
Warns swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies.
Administers first aid in the event of injury; rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning; and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary.
Evaluates conditions for safety and initiates aquatics emergency action plan as required.
Inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable.
Assists in cleaning the pool and related facilities and equipment, assists with chlorine residual water tests and with records and charts of water tests and records of accidents, and adds chemicals to pool water as directed.
Compensation starts at $100/scheduled day or $20/hour, whichever is higher. Weekends and weekdays June-August. Typically five days per week.
Requirements:
16 years or older
Must possess an active Lifeguard certification or be willing to obtain one prior to June 25.
Must pass a background check
Nurse/EMT
Job Summary: Camp nurses/EMTs are responsible for the care and supervision of all medical services. This care includes looking after ill or injured campers or staff, administering medication, communicating with parents and counselors, organizing medical information, medications, and first-aid kits, and keeping records of camper visits. Camps will be staffed 24 hours a day from check-in to check-out for campers and staff. Private housing and meals are provided.
Experience working with children and youth
Ability to maintain health forms and paperwork
Ability to maintain and administer all medications
Ability to make decisions and take initiative under pressure
Good communication skills
Responsibilities:
Ensure inventory of First-Aid kits is supplied and maintained
Maintain insurance forms and camper health forms
Keep a daily log of the camper’s office visits
Accept and store all prescription and OTC medications
Administer prescription and OTC medications when necessary
Illness and injury management
Communication with counselors and guardians of the camper’s illness or injury
Provide first aid for cuts, stings, sunburn, etc.

Requirements:
Licensed as a registered nurse or EMT in the state of Kentucky
Current CPR and First Aid certifications
Must pass a background check
