Camp History

Camp Freedom was established in 2006 to provide a memorable camp experience for children in foster or kinship care.

The goal of Camp Freedom is to design activities to develop lifelong skills, promote independence, encourage connections, and nurture friendships. Campers will leave with new skills, nourished self-esteem, and lasting memories.

This camp is made possible through private and corporate donations and grants. Donations help defray expenses related to this camp. Your donation may be tax-deductible. If you wish to help make this camp possible, please visit our donations page.
